On a recent trip to WI, I was able to visit Schlitz Park... what was once the great Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company. In the early 1900s the Schlitz Brewery surpassed production of the Pabst Brewery to become the largest brewery in the world (slightly ironic as Pabst eventually acquired the Schlitz name after acquiring the Stroh Company in the 90s). In the 50s, Schlitz introduced Old Milwaukee. The Old Milwaukee marquee adorns the majority of local bars in southern Wisconsin, from what I can tell.
The old brewery buildings are absolutely amazing.
